My Family sessions are relaxed, natural and unposed which offer a unique opportunity to capture genuine emotions and memories. You choose the location; your home or favourite places to spend time together. These familiar settings allow families to interact naturally, creating moments that reflect their everyday life. From playful laughter on the grass to quiet moments of connection under the trees, each image tells a story that goes beyond traditional posed portraits. The emphasis is on documenting real experiences, showcasing the beauty of family bonds in a natural environment. My shoots aim to be as relaxed as possible, there's nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable in front of a camera and I want to be there just to mainly observe and wait for those magic moments to happen. I hope our sessions feel more like a meeting with a friend than an awkward forced family portrait where no one wants to look at the camera. I want to collect those little moments of interaction, a shared joke or inquisitive look, a small hand reaching or little feet exploring. I want to show and capture the real you, nothing forced or fake. I want to create a genuine family album capturing life as it is; a carefree laugh, a grumpy tired face, grazed knees and grubby faces. It's in those quiet, unobserved moments that show the glimpses of personality and narrative of family life. I won't ask you to pose, but I may just prompt or guide you to a composition that we both are happy with.

Family Sessions from £250

I offer a range of sessions to fit all. Please take a look below but any further questions are welcomed!

All sessions will include:

An email consultation covering what you would like from the session and where you would like this to happen; at home or a favourite place (or a mix of both!)
a session at home or at an outside location or a mix of both
Online gallery available within 14 days of the shoot
Beautiful archival prints available to purchase additionally
Payment plans available

Please note that a travel fee will be added for shoots 5 miles outside of Bristol/BS40. (Charged at 45p per litre)

This session will enable us to really get to know each other, for you to completely relax, and for me to photograph a day in the life of your family.
This is a true documentary-style session where I join you in your home, allowing you to forget that I’m there and go about your daily life. Feel free to stay in your pyjamas, scatter the toys, share a meal together, or prepare for a walk or an adventure outside. We can chat over cups of tea, exchange parenting stories, and simply hang out.
I’ve seen it all in terms of parenting and families: no house is too messy, no kids are too loud, and no days are too mundane. Each moment is precious and tells a story worth capturing.
This session includes all digital images ready to download.
This is a big investment so payment plans are available.
This session offers the opportunity to combine the laid back feeling of me capturing you all at home, giving us time to get to know each-other and feeling relaxed, as well as being flexible to visit another location. It’s your session so I’m more than happy to go with the flow; we could stay at home, be outside for the whole session or a perfect mix of both.
This session includes 5 digital images with the option to upgrade to your full gallery of digital images to download.
This session is perfect for those short on time, or with very young children who’s tolerance might wane after an hour!
The same outlook applies to this session as the rest, they will be as relaxed and comfortable as possible, we’ll chat and get to know each-other, we’ll just have to say goodbye a little quicker.

Being a parent of a child with a disability myself I know that finding something that is accessible and understanding to your unique needs can be really tricky. So let me take that load off of your hands and I will do everything possible to make your experience as relaxing as possible.
An extra half hour can be added to any of my sessions to accommodate needs.
If you’re having a family get together or a small celebration then I’d love to be able to help you capture that. I offer larger group sessions that can cater for up to 6 adults and 6 children. These require additional fees per person and can be applied to either the mini or the medium session.
